Nagbert Calendar

Data handling

Privacy notice

This notice covers Nagbert Calendar’s Google calendar connection and its planned personal morning brief. The briefing draft has been tested; scheduled Slack delivery is not yet active. This site provides information only; it has no forms, login, scripts, or analytics added by the application.

Information accessed

With the account owner’s Google authorization, the connection can read the calendar list and calendar events available under the granted scopes. Returned information can include calendar names and identifiers, event titles, dates, times, time zones, locations, and descriptions.

The planned briefing uses selected, authorized personal calendars. The application and workflow enforce an explicit list of selected calendar IDs. Google’s read-only scopes may cover more calendars than the assistant is intended to use; the briefing must apply its own selection. Corporate calendars are excluded from the intended use. The connection does not request Gmail access or calendar-write access.

Purpose and processing

Calendar information is used to retrieve the day’s events, group them by date, and prepare the personal brief alongside Todoist tasks and optional weather. Collection and formatting for this briefing are deterministic. Calendar text is not sent to OpenAI for this briefing, and Google calendar data is not used to train AI models.

Storage and service providers

Google OAuth credentials are held in dedicated n8n credential storage. Application configuration and operational records are held in the assistant’s local application storage. n8n execution records can also retain data according to its configured retention settings.

If scheduled delivery is enabled after recipient enrollment, the selected briefing content is sent to the recipient’s private Slack conversation and is then also subject to the workspace’s retention and access settings. Google, n8n, and Slack process information as needed to provide their respective parts of this connection. Calendar data is not sold or used for advertising.

Retention and deletion

No automatic deletion period is currently promised. Stored credentials, application records, execution records, and delivered Slack messages can have different retention settings. Authorized operators may access operational records for setup, troubleshooting, and deletion requests; this is not a public calendar-sharing service.

You can revoke the connection through your Google Account connections. Revocation prevents further authorized retrieval; it does not automatically delete data already stored or messages already delivered. To request deletion of stored credentials or data, contact merrittaihq@gmail.com. The operator will verify the request and identify what can be deleted from the relevant stores. Slack workspace settings may affect deletion of delivered messages.

Google API Limited Use

Nagbert Calendar’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
